Lee Kronenberg

Owner, Health & Fitness Technician Certificate, ACE Certified Personal Trainer

Lee has been a proud local of Whidbey Island since 1993. Originally born in Fallon, Nevada, the Navy brought him and his family to Oak Harbor when he was just four years old. He would eventually graduate from Oak Harbor High School and pursue his dream of impacting his community in a positive manner. Always competing in sports as a youth (especially basketball), Lee developed a love for pick up games, has played in minor rec leagues in Seattle, and developed a niche to improve health, strength and grow as a motivator by making the gym his second home. An honors graduate student through Skagit Valley College's Health & Fitness program, and an ACE Certified Personal Trainer with a focus on Corrective Training, Athletic Performance, and Senior Fitness makes for a well rounded balance towards his client's goals no matter the age or fitness level. A part time rehab tech at Oak Harbor Physical Therapy, Lee loves being around people and helping others improve. When not at The Studio or at OHPT, you can find Lee running around town, hiking trails in search for breathtaking views, enjoying cheat meals, or on the basketball court working on his jumpshot.

Kate Barnes

ACE Certified Personal Trainer

Kate grew up on a large ranch in the middle of nowhere Wyoming where she enjoyed the long cattle drives and the great outdoors. ⁣ She was homeschooled and went to college in southern California and graduated with a Bachelors degree at the Masters University with a minor in music and Bible. She recently moved to Whidbey and loves it. Here she received her ACE certification and started the process of transitioning over to the personal training role. She has taken college courses and worked in a few clinical settings to better understand the art of corrective exercises. ⁣Some recent credentials include a certification in ACE’s Fitness Nutrition Specialist Program, Assessments and Corrective Exercises for Better Posture and Movement through ACE along with Corrective Exercise Program Design in The BioMechanics Method. ⁣She is a constant learner and tries to better herself so she can help others in a positive role. She loves teaching and trying to understand each client with where they are at in their fitness journey and believes that anyone can start from anywhere and enjoy the process. ⁣ While not training, she works with her dads grass-fed beef business. Her hobbies include, horseback riding, 4-wheeling, hiking, running, playing her cello, working on her property with her animals, traveling and skiing. ⁣

Lindsay Gippe

BS Sport and Recreation Management, NASM Certified Personal Trainer, AFAA Group Fitness Instructor, FMS Level 2, USAW Level 1, TRX Coach

Originally from Virginia Beach, VA, Lindsay grew up active playing multiple sports and committed to play D1 Field Hockey for James Madison University. During Lindsay’s four years as a student-athlete she took a passion to strength and conditioning and group fitness. She received her first personal training and spinning certifications while in college. After college she transitioned into working as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor and sports performance coach in a small box gym and at a yacht club. She has a passion for teaching middle and high school strength and conditioning and youth sports performance training. Lindsay and her spouse PCS’d here in April 2022 and also works for the US Navy as a Fitness Specialist training our sailors. As a trainer, she wants her clients to feel educated and successful on their fitness journey. Her goal is to build her clients, not break them. Her greatest strength is her work ethic. No matter what task is at hand, we now that Lindsay will strive to perform to the best of her ability. Lindsay believes that in order to grow you may need to step out of your comfort zone and that everything truly happens for a reason. When not training and working with her clients Lindsay can be found creating and selling handmade jewelry for her small business, trail running, going to hot yoga and exploring all that Washington state has to offer. One fun fact about Lindsay is that she has a twin sister and they played field hockey together in college.

Britney Fortner

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer, PN1-NC, PN1-SSR, PN2-MHC, Pain Free Performance Specialist

Service to others and a greater cause has always directed the needle to Brit’s compass. Her professional journey started out as a proud member of the United States Navy, a chapter in which she remains deeply indebted to. Working alongside some of the finest men and women of our current times, she was tempered by the forge of leadership and honed by the grit of adversity. Following her enlistment, she transitioned to the field of physical therapy as a clinician in outpatient care. Despite the common focus on pain, her years as a clinician have taught her the resilient nature of the human mind and body. She has gained expertise in functional movement/rehabilitation and become fascinated by pain science and neuropsychology- however the compassionate connection with her patients has always been the driving force. Brit feels very blessed to have been a part of these organizations, helping her to discover her true calling and vision as a coach. She specializes in nutrition, sleep, stress, recovery, and behavior change. Beyond her profession, family has her heart. She finds joy in the great outdoors, woodworking, and fitness.
